Hedwig Star Neil Patrick Harris Talks Tackling the Trans German Rocker (with No Understudy!) on The View

The countdown has officially begun: In exactly five months, Neil Patrick Harris will don a wig and glittery makeup in Hedwig & the Angry Inch on Broadway! To celebrate, we present a clip of NPH chatting about the show on the October 28 episode of The View—and why he’s both “ecstatic and terrified” to play the internationally ignored song stylist from communist East Berlin. We also found out something new about the production. “It’s just me, no understudy,” Harris told The View ladies (and guest co-host Chris Harrison). Wow!
